Why hire a wedding planner?

Wedding planning is a service just like any other service. However, it could be a costly one and people might not see the value of it in the beginning. Here are some factors you may need to consider before making a final decision on whether to hire a wedding planner or not...

How to choose the right package for you?

This is going to be a tough one. The reason is because most couples would feel that the wedding planner is bias or trying to up sell them. So here are some things to keep in mind while choosing the right fit for you...

How much in advance should you start planning/talking about wedding?

This is a question that I get very often and I wanted to address it in this blog series. The shortest answer is the sooner the better. However, to be more helpful here are some fact that you want to consider.

How to choose a “when” to get married

This topic is also along the same lines as my previous blog. These are questions that are very popular and couples need some specific guidelines to make their decisions wisely.

Destination Weddings

Destination weddings can be gorgeous and scary at the same time, for some couples. Guest list troubles.

Here’s some advice

Deciding who to invite to your wedding can be very stressful. There are people who believe they should be invited, but that you might not want to invite, or a family member is insisting that someone that they know is invited. Here are some tips that can help you navigate through this process with greater ease:

I'm Engaged! What Now? Q&A

I recently got invited to do a live Facebook Q&A session for a closed Facebook group that I belonged to. The group is called I’m Engaged! What Now? It is a private group for brides and grooms to come together and connect with one another for wedding planning help, support and advice. This tight knit community is exclusively for brides and grooms (or anyone close to getting engaged), bridesmaids/MOHs, Wedding Industry Professionals, or anyone married and willing to help future brides and grooms. Together, members help each other create the perfect wedding day!

Budget Madness made simple

This is usually the first question that I ask a couple. For wedding planners the budget is a tool that we use as a compass of sorts. It guides us and helps us make the best decisions for our clients and to provide the best service possible. However, for the couple the budget is so much more. For many couples the budget is a source of stress, confusion, doubt, uncertainty, arguments and many emotions. Here I would like to provide some information and tips on how to handle your budget and/or how to plan how much you will need or how to maximize what you can you get with what you have.

To be seated or no to be seated, what’s the question.

When it comes to the guest list many couples struggle with the decision on whether to have assigned or open seating. Before I dive in this topic I would like to mention something. Both choices have their advantages and disadvantages. Based on the type, style and venue of your wedding this decision will differ. I am not here to tell you which option is the right one. There is no right or wrong. I am here to shed some light on the benefits of having assigned seating. It was brought to my attention that brides-to-be are interested in this topic.
